The throw-in from Mark Deffaa in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Almaröds FF's Flavio Migliorati. Per-Arne Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bautista in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, RD Hamburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Deffaa to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Ahmet İlke Beşer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvano Blech. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alex Påk hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in RD Hamburg's zone, Alex Påk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Blech came out of the goal and Alex Påk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almaröds FF's Per-Arne Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Di Martino in the 17th minute of play. Almaröds FF's attentive Flavio Migliorati managed to snatch the ball when Urban Geenen made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 minutes of play, Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Blech was left in no man's land by his defense there! RD Hamburg's Silvano Blech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Blech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Tom Fernström got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Eusebio Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almaröds FF's Flavio Migliorati quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Urban Geenen, made in the 31st minute of the game. Per-Arne Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bautista in the 34th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Ariel Bautista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almaröds FF's Per-Arne Hansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Di Martino in the 35th minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Per-Arne Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Gruteser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Blech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ahmet İlke Beşer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almaröds FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet İlke Beşer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Blech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Påk to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Urban Geenen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Arne Hansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filippo Di Martino made a kick off. Ahmet İlke Beşer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Blech having to make a save. In the 52nd minute Ahmet İlke Beşer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Blech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RD Hamburg getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Johannes Raubold hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in RD Hamburg's zone, Simon Thidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Blech came out of the goal and Simon Thidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Eusebio Chuan from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Per-Arne Hansson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ralf Ekström's late challenge caught a RD Hamburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Ekström. 60 minutes into the game, Ahmet İlke Beşer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Silvano Blech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Deffaa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Arne Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Gruteser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Blech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Migliorati, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Almaröds FF were awarded a corner. Simon Thidén went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Almaröds FF's Alfred Lindqvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvano Blech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per-Arne Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Di Martino in the 79th minute. In the 84th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Ekström to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Chuan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Arne Hansson. Almaröds FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, RD Hamburg's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Beşer came free, but Silvano Blech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Arne Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Gruteser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Migliorati during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RD Hamburg booed when Almaröds FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Migliorati didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Migliorati to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Filippo Di Martino could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Per-Arne Hansson however easily saved by the left post.
For all the effort they put into the match, the RD Hamburg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Almaröds FF.
