Amauri Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amauri Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Bruno Renan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolgahan Onatkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Siqueira. After 30 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Vergílio. 32 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amauri Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute Tolgahan Onatkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Renan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Macedo made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Váldson Miranda put in a rough tackle. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marquês de Herval! Marquês de Herval:s Bruno Renan showed great skill when he stopped Tolgahan Onatkan:s penalty. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 62nd minute of play. Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Macedo in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix got control of the ball when Alfredo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Marquês de Herval's Carlos Fernando Fantini to fire away a dangerous shot which Amauri Félix despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Arif Gaffar Bedi was substituted for Israel Vidal. Amauri Félix came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins. But to his dismay, Alfredo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Bruno Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Marcos Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The Marquês de Herval supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marquês de Herval would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
