Youri Borderie ran back to his position shaking his head. Christopher Barnier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Guifre to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Eleazar came free, but Christopher Barnier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Barnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Eleazar in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Punta Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Errolan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Borderie got free with Venancio Oto in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Frichoso came free, but Christopher Barnier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Bengt-Rune Mellberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Frichoso made a kick off. U.S.Normande's Christopher Barnier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 53rd minute of play. Youri Borderie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venancio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Borderie, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Gizon in the 57th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Christopher Barnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youri Borderie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Oto having to make a save. Youri Borderie took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Oto. Venancio Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Punta Alvear's Edelmiro Veremundo was substituted for Emanuel Gizon. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Borderie in the 78th minute of play. Jacinto Eleazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christopher Barnier came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Eleazar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 80th minute. Christopher Barnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Eleazar in the 83rd minute of the match. U.S.Normande's Christopher Barnier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save U.S.Normande from getting a goal against them. Christopher Barnier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Frichoso in the 93rd minute. Bengt-Rune Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Oto having to interfere.
