Boca Juniors's attentive Greger Bratt managed to snatch the ball when Dominik Lanckneus made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 13th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Persson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Pálffy having to make a save. Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Persson in the 17th minute of play. Péter Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Persson in the 24th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 30th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Péter Pálffy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Péter Pálffy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Persson in the 34th minute of play. Boca Juniors's Greger Bratt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Malcolm Blue in the 36 minute of the game. Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Persson in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doriva Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 57th minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Edvard Dusett got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bengt Persson might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Péter Pálffy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt Persson ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Persson came free, but Péter Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Péter Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Persson in the 71st minute of the match. If Neycho Mudrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors's Isaac Billing was substituted for Harry Hedling. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Neycho Mudrov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capivara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neycho Mudrov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg got control of the ball when Doriva Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Jody Montoya made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Péter Pálffy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens-Åke Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Tavares in the 95th minute.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Boca Juniors had won after a very even match.
