With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Felipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jari Alenius struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Vinicio Felipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAGANO F.C. When Jari Alenius came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the NAGANO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jari Alenius couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Alenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Jari Alenius scored to the left of an out of position Vinicio Felipo, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Jari Alenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAGANO F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jari Alenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the EL CERVECERO F.C. defense, Jari Alenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Felipo. The EL CERVECERO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Felipo should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Iwan Kolbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jari Alenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinicio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Alenius in the 43rd minute of play. Vinicio Felipo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jari Alenius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jari Alenius made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jari Alenius notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo. Vinicio Felipo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jari Alenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Felipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Vellito Alguerdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Iraunkor in the 60th minute of the match. Pertti Koskenkorva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Felipo having to interfere. EL CERVECERO F.C. made a substitution. Radomir Tomiczek replaced Iwan Kolbert. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Ernesto Playo was substituted for Gerardo Iraunkor. The audience was convinced that Jari Alenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Felipo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute of the match, Aureliano Mancio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vellito Alguerdo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gabriel Batistuta got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-0. 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Gabriel Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Ortega in the 96th minute of the match.
