Wisła Kraków's Fredrik Backman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków from getting a goal against them. Fredrik Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ermanno Puglielli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fredrik Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Ereinotz in the 92nd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Les Tigres's Paolo Ereinotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Backman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
Although Les Tigres had been in control for most of the match, Wisła Kraków still came away with the win.
