Fabricio Mancio came out of the goal and Victor Paskal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 113 played minutes Club Atlético Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Banga. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

In the 117th minute, Universitario Pincharrata's Humberto Balendin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
