After a rather tough play, Eendracht Vooruit's David Leenknecht got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Zhen Sen in the 17th minute of the match. When Tommi Armentier came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Eendracht Vooruit fans jumped to their feet. After 30 played minutes Eendracht Vooruit got a freekick which was hit by David Leenknecht. Diogo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi Armentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tommi Armentier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Paulo Victor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diogo Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Van der Vorst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diogo Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Van der Vorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Paulo Victor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommi Armentier's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tommi Armentier made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Long Zhen Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mathias Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Van der Vorst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eendracht Vooruit made a substitution. Gery Burhanuddin replaced Tommi Armentier. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Germano Vasconcelos replaced Romeu Fonseca. Paulo Victor made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gery Burhanuddin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gery Burhanuddin got free with Paulo Victor in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Tande hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Alves in the 80th managed to get into a good position. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eendracht Vooruit had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
