An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Loarte in the 11th minute of play forced ELMUÑE's goalkeeper Amador Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Botelho hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. ELMUÑE's Martin Nafarroa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Leon Sport Club. In the 20th minute Eleuterio Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weverton Pras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Weverton Pras managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when ELMUÑE's Bonifacio Admon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bonifacio Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Fraco came free, but Weverton Pras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ELMUÑE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leon Sport Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
