After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Soulis Peris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jose F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Soulis Peris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tasos Brizolakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Kyriakos Fragoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Kyriakos Fragoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jose F.C.'s Markos Veritsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kyriakos Fragoulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Markos Veritsis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kyriakos Fragouliss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Markos Veritsis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Kyriakos Fragoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markos Veritsis was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Kyriakos Fragoulis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Markos Veritsis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyriakos Fragoulis in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markos Veritsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Jose F.C.'s Dimosthenis Siamantouras got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Michalis Barkoglou fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jose F.C.'s protests and gave Michalis Barkoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Michalis Barkoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jose F.C.'s Markos Veritsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Jose F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Stratos Tsaligopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tasos Brizolakos came out of the goal and Stratos Tsaligopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Anthimos Prasanakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jose F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthimos Prasanakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyriakos Fragoulis made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jose F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Saronida FC a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Minas Rodanakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jose F.C.'s Markos Veritsis. 1-0. 55 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goalkeeper Tasos Brizolakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Soulis Peris. After 57 minutes, Kyriakos Fragoulis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jose F.C.'s Markos Veritsis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saronida FC made a substitution. Christos Periou replaced Minas Rodanakis. In the 69th minute Kyriakos Fragoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Veritsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goalkeeper Tasos Brizolakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktoras Korelas. With his leg Tasos Brizolakos managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Jose F.C.'s Soulis Peris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Markos Veritsis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyriakos Fragoulis went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 85 minutes, Kyriakos Fragoulis made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jose F.C.'s Markos Veritsis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christos Periou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kyriakos Fragoulis sped through Jose F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Markos Veritsis. In the 99th minute, Christos Periou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Saronida FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
