Philipp Körper kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Thorsten Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Pabing SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorsten Gerber couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pabing SV booed when F.C. Augsburg 1907 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Kruppke didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to F.C. Augsburg 1907 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ansgar Zommer hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Borġ in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jochen Püllen saved F.C. Augsburg 1907 from getting behind. Jochen Püllen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre-Yann Marks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When F.C. Augsburg 1907's Thomas Bacher, in the 18th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Augsburg 1907. Jochen Püllen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerhard Mokros went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, F.C. Augsburg 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Joel-Benjamin Milles came free, but Jochen Püllen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Andre-Yann Marks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Augsburg 1907's Jochen Püllen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Pabing SV's Hortêncio Borġ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jochen Püllen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Pabing SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thorsten Gerber in the 43rd minute. The corner led Pabing SV's Thorsten Gerber to fire away a dangerous shot which Jochen Püllen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Alex Thalberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Colin Kotschi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thomas Bacher kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jochen Püllen was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Hortêncio Borġ capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hortêncio Borġ really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jochen Püllen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Borġ in the 74th minute. Pabing SV's Hortêncio Borġ was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jochen Püllen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre-Yann Marks in the 80th minute of play. F.C. Augsburg 1907's Jochen Püllen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Borġ in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C. Augsburg 1907's Maxi Adams got a free kick in the 84th minute. The long shot by Thorsten Gerber in the 84th minute really tested Jochen Püllen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jochen Püllen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerhard Mokros in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F.C. Augsburg 1907's Ole Kumbruch got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Hortêncio Borġ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pabing SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Borġ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Pabing SV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Augsburg 1907 throughout the match.
