Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tran Hauwaerts kicked off to start the match. Mattijs Parmentier hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Pacho Carabajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute Pacho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Van Meerbeec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Pacho Carabajal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Van Meerbeec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Pacho Carabajal came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacho Carabajal couldn't finish the play. Maxime Leemans hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Casper Jannes. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Jonathan Clinckspoor got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Tran Hauwaerts came free, but Dolf Rouckeloos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Van Meerbeec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pacho Carabajal went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th play minute Pacho Carabajal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilbert Van Meerbeec. 4-1. 32 minutes into the match, Pacho Carabajal notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Flamenco United's Gilbert Van Meerbeec. Gilbert Van Meerbeec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes, Timmy Simons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brugge United and the Flamenco United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timmy Simons kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Flamenco United's goal looked a bit too open when Pacho Carabajal came free, but Gilbert Van Meerbeec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Brugge United's Pacho Carabajal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Van Meerbeec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Flamenco United's goalkeeper Gilbert Van Meerbeec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pacho Carabajal. 46 minutes in the game Maxime Leemans did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bryan Clijsters. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pacho Carabajal to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Maxime Leemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamenco United and the Brugge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Maxime Leemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Louis Rijniers hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gilbert Van Meerbeec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamenco United's goalkeeper Gilbert Van Meerbeec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brugge United's Casper Jannes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tran Hauwaerts, made in the 68th minute of the game. If Pacho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flamenco United's Gilbert Van Meerbeec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacho Carabajal in the 69th minute of play. Pacho Carabajal scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Van Meerbeec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean-Louis Rijniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raoul Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gilbert Van Meerbeec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacho Carabajal scored 8-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Van Meerbeec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jean-Louis Rijniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pacho Carabajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brugge United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
