Bertil Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 11 played minutes Blomstermåla BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Hellström. In the 14th minute, Sebastian Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Åberg in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Jörn Erserman made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Vallengren. Lillbo BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Lillbo BK booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Erserman couldn't finish the play. It was a penalty for Lillbo BK! 89 minutes into the match, Lillbo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Rosen came free, but Bertil Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Robert Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blomstermåla BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lillbo BK the free kick. A collision led to Blomstermåla BK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Robert Åberg hit a great ball. Blomstermåla BK's Lennart Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Lillbo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Granberg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lillbo BK defense, Sven-Edvin Hellström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Vallengren. The Lillbo BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Vallengren should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blomstermåla BK fully deserved thier win.
