Marc Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pär Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Saturno in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Saturno in the 21st minute of play forced Gunnah FC's goalkeeper Pär Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pär Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pär Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Saturno in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Gunnah FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emil Jonsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gunnah FC's Ian Alstedt got a free kick in the 40th minute. Stardust Unicorns XI's Alexander Wahlnäs got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Stardust Unicorns XI were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Anselius made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ray Saturno in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pär Backman saved Gunnah FC from getting behind. Pär Backman had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ray Saturno from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Pär Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Saturno in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pontus Lövkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Pär Backman however easily saved by the left post. 71 minutes into the game, Ray Saturno lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Pär Backman. In the 76th minute, Friday Mercury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Gunnah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Norström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Sjögren in the 85th minute of play forced Stardust Unicorns XI's goalkeeper Marc Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ray Saturno took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Pär Backman to make any attempt to save it. Gunnah FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Rocky Thunderbolt scored to the left of an out of position Pär Backman, making the score, 0-7. Pär Backman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ray Saturno's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Stardust Unicorns XI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
