The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torgny Fastesson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Albin Bergström sent off a good shot on target. Torgny Fastesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Ekström's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Näfver in the 16th minute of play forced Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Fredrik Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Albin Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Digital Monsterz FC and the FC Bodil United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albin Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Valentin Pil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torgny Fastesson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute, Albin Bergström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torgny Fastesson. The goal made the score 2-0. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Elias Malmberg advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 28th minute. After 38 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Tord Näfver. When Karl-Johan Drake fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bodil United's protests and gave Karl-Johan Drake a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Bergström in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Torgny Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bodil United's Torgny Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Holmgren in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Peter Molander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Filiph Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiph Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Fastesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Holmgren in the 72nd minute of play. When Digital Monsterz FC's Håkan Holmgren in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bodil United's goalie prevented a goal. FC Bodil United's Torgny Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Holmgren in the 79th minute of play. Torgny Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Holmgren in the 82nd minute of the match. Håkan Holmgren took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torgny Fastesson. Torgny Fastesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 91 minutes into the game, Digital Monsterz FC's Håkan Holmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgny Fastesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Torgny Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Digital Monsterz FC were the better team. Digital Monsterz FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
