The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dep. Moron were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Santos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daníel Ortiz took the corner. Sam Malone made a great header on Dep. Moron's corner, it was just that Santos FC's Errol Sharpe managed to reach the ball for a save. Lawrence Smart hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Milo Cordova came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Dep. Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Cordova couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dep. Moron booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Ladd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milo Cordovas short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Errol Sharpe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 20 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Ragland. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Leon Burr got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bart Greenwood kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Errol Sharpe was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Milo Cordova capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milo Cordova really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Milo Cordovas short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Errol Sharpe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Errol Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.C. Jacobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Dep. Moron's J.C. Jacobson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errol Sharpe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Errol Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milo Cordova in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute J.C. Jacobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errol Sharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errol Sharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of J.C. Jacobson's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Dep. Moron's Bruce Belcher was substituted for Dominic McGuire. Dep. Moron made a substitution. Renato Esposito replaced Daníel Ortiz. When Thanh Kaplan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dep. Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanh Kaplan couldn't finish the play. If Milo Cordova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Errol Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milo Cordova in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milo Cordova came free, but Errol Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Arden hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Errol Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milo Cordova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milo Cordova in the 81st minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Errol Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos FC's Errol Sharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Jacobson in the 87th minute of play. Errol Sharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of J.C. Jacobson's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Milo Cordova struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Errol Sharpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep. Moron.
