Joaquim Ferreira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Joaquim Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquim Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DPD FC's João Pessoa got a free kick in the 18th minute. José Telinhos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Nuno Pais made a huge save. With his leg Nuno Pais managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when União Sport Clube Paredes's António Peseiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. DPD FC's Nuno Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save DPD FC from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Rebocho came free, but Hermenegildo Cavaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes União Sport Clube Paredes got a freekick which was hit by Micael Casado. Belchior Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes, António Peseiro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. DPD FC's Nuno Pais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 55th minute of the match União Sport Clube Paredes got a corner. DPD FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Telinhos ran over to the corner to take the kick. António Peseiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Pais having to make a save. If Higino Lameiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Rebocho got free with Hermenegildo Cavaco in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 72nd minute of the match Micael Casado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Micael Casado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Micael Casado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. José Telinhos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind União Sport Clube Paredes's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Cavaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, DPD FC's Hermenegildo Cavaco threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Higino Lameiras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th play minute Vicente Quinaz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermenegildo Cavaco. 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Palmiro Ramires in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by União Sport Clube Paredes's Tarcísio Vilar. União Sport Clube Paredes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DPD FC for a fine match.
