When Sebastian Ramberg came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cheeky Nuts United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Ramberg couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cheeky Nuts United booed when Dum Dum Boys Athletics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Evertsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sebastian Ramberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Gundersen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Severin Evertsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Olof Skretting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Richard Wille got control of the ball when Alf Austad tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes, Sebastian Ramberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheeky Nuts United and the Dum Dum Boys Athletics players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Helge Dramstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sebastian Ramberg hit a great ball. During the 46th minute of the match Ken Gundersen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ken Gundersen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 47th match minute, Dum Dum Boys Athletics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Gundersen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Øvstebø in the 49th minute of play forced Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Richard Wille to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

54 minutes into the match, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Øvstebø came free, but Richard Wille reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Austad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Wille showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Øvstebø, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Richard Wille stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon-Erik Vedøy's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Richard Wille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Rakvåg in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Kåre Muller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dum Dum Boys Athletics and the Cheeky Nuts United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cheeky Nuts United booed when Dum Dum Boys Athletics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Muller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Henrik Rakvåg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 99 minutes into the game, Cheeky Nuts United's Renaud Wiggers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Wille made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Cheeky Nuts United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
