The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Casado in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Gervaso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zeledon Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Gaston Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albino Oalo in the 11th minute. In the 16th match minute, Psycho-Circus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Hitz to maneuver through the defense. Guido Casado came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celestino Gervaso could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Psycho-Circus's Ramiro Hitz got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Oalo got free with Celestino Gervaso in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Psycho-Circus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Romulo Matia scored to the left of an out of position Celestino Gervaso, making the score, 1-0. Jesus Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jesus Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Celestino Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Gregory. The supporters of C. S. D. Pueyrredón booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Matia in the 46th minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Celestino Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Casado in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Gervaso saved Psycho-Circus from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Petrigai was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Irwin Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Basilio Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Celestino Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Carlomagno made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marcos Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Carlomagno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Psycho-Circus's Marcos Petrigai shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 60th minute, Guido Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Matia in the 63rd minute of play. Gaston Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Claudio Inguma was substituted for Fidel Gregory. 68 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's Marcos Petrigai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Carlomagno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Guido Casado came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the C. S. D. Pueyrredón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Casado couldn't finish the play. Celestino Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Guido Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Thomas came free, but Jesus Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jesus Carlomagno made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Guido Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Casado might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Gervaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Casado ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Guido Casado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Gervaso. Psycho-Circus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Psycho-Circus's zone, Guido Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Gervaso came out of the goal and Guido Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
