The Estrellas de Caballito fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Estrellas de Caballito's Omar Gelmiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Rosio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Venceslao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Gelmiro came free, but Tomás Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Gelmiro in the 39th minute of the match. Tomás Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maule having to interfere. Tomás Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Gelmiro in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Tiadoro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Tomás Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Gelmiro. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bendito Sea El Fernet from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Wilfredo Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Patricio Sabin got a free kick in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Eusébio Da Silva notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule. Tomás Maule was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when Bendito Sea El Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bendito Sea El Fernet defense, Omar Gelmiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Maule. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Maule should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bendito Sea El Fernet getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bernabe Suarez hit a great ball. Omar Gelmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tomás Maule made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Gelmiro got free with Tomás Maule in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th play minute Patricio Sabin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomás Maule. 0-6. Estrellas de Caballito played a much better game than Bendito Sea El Fernet and deserved their victory. The Bendito Sea El Fernet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
