When Jaime Pes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Platense es de Primera!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pes couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Platense es de Primera!!'s zone, Alfredo Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Senio came out of the goal and Alfredo Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Geleberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Senio was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Alfredo Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Refugio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Abascal's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Horacio Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Nel in the 25th minute of play. Horacio Refugio made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Edgardo Abascal sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Geleberto in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Senio saved Platense es de Primera!! from getting behind. Edgardo Abascal scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horacio Refugio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Anibal Presebal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Senio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV reached it. In the 41st minute, Benedicto Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Nel in the 46th minute of play. Platense es de Primera!!'s Aristides Martinez was substituted for Igor Balendin. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristides Martinez was slow to take the kick. During this time Platense es de Primera!!'s players had a chance to rest. Anibal Presebal tried in the game's 49th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Horacio Refugio. An annoying self made goal, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Geleberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Presebal. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Horacio Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Abascal in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Ismael Osoitz got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Platense es de Primera!!'s Dario Senio got control of the ball when Alfredo Geleberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV booed when Platense es de Primera!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Abascal in the 69th minute of the match. If Bonifacio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Alfredo Geleberto lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Dario Senio. After 80 played minutes Platense es de Primera!! got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Osoitz. Alfredo Geleberto came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dario Senio could save by the left post. The corner led SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Dario Abar to fire away a dangerous shot which Dario Senio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Nel came free, but Horacio Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Bilintx during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Platense es de Primera!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Platense es de Primera!!:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV:s goal. Platense es de Primera!!'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
