Rolando Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Palermo came free, but Roque Clementi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Teo Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Herena shot from long distance in the 17th minute, but Silver Mineur was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Cláudio Caneo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Elias Leguizamón hit a great ball. LTA FC's Silver Mineur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. Roque Clementi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Juan Gaute took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silver Mineur. Silver Mineur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Juan Gaute hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Inocencio Ariando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Gaute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silver Mineur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Ruben Tipi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of LTA FC's Silver Mineur. Silver Mineur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silver Mineur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Gaute in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leandro Garate's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silver Mineur was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Tipi in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silver Mineur saved LTA FC from getting behind. Roque Clementi made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cláudio Caneo sent off a good shot on target. Silver Mineur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Gaute, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 81st match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Gau to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Gaute came free, but Silver Mineur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
