The supporters of MORPH booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustavo-Hernán Díaz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo-Hernán Díaz couldn't finish the play. Claudio Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Guido Lorencio sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Iliana took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo-Hernán Armani. Gustavo-Hernán Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Lorencio in the 23rd minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Claudio Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAN LORENZO FC's Claudio Berriotxoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save SAN LORENZO FC from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Michael hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Justino Iago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO FC and the MORPH players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Justino Iago hit a great ball. Claudio Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Berriotxoa, passed just outside the right post. In the 47th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Haritzeder got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Birjaio. Claudio Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Lorencio in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Lorencio in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Lorencio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Berriotxoa saved SAN LORENZO FC from getting behind. After 61 minutes SAN LORENZO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo-Hernán Díaz who took care of the corner kick. 63 minutes in the game Diego Geleberto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Birjaio. Claudio Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudio Quentin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SAN LORENZO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudio Quentin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, Claudio Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Berriotxoa came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by MORPH's Daniel Birjaio. But to his dismay, Daniel Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
