Celedonio Urtzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Fernanco's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Leopoldo Fernanco scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Urtzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Fernanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Urtzi having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Fernanco came free, but Celedonio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN's Celedonio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Fernanco in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Leopoldo Fernanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celta de Virgos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the WINNING ELEVEN defense, Leopoldo Fernanco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Urtzi. Celedonio Urtzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnoldo Florian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 75 minute of play. Celedonio Urtzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Roque Silviano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 90th minute. WINNING ELEVEN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Arnoldo Florian scored to the left of an out of position Celedonio Urtzi, making the score, 0-13. Celta de Virgos played a much better game than WINNING ELEVEN and deserved their victory. The WINNING ELEVEN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
