Nicanor Piorno's late challenge caught a Las Momias F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Piorno helped the player get up and apologised. Timoteo Peru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Esteve Bernat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteve Bernat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timoteo Peru went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Timoteo Peru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Gaitano came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Salvatore came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.'s Esteve Bernat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Las Momias F. C. from getting a goal against them. If Eduardo Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filomeno Ulizes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Filomeno Ulizes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Filomeno Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ceferino Musko hit a great ball. Mark Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Salvatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Salvatore was the one to do the kick off. Mark Wenerdahl was a little too slow when Mauricio Gaitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Timoteo Peru might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Bernat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Peru ran back to his position shaking his head. Las Momias F. C.'s Esteve Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Peru in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Tiburcio Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Timoteo Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Peru scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute Timoteo Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Wenerdahl was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Mauricio Gaitano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Gaitano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 79 minutes, Humberto Rolado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berutti FC and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Las Momias F. C.'s Esteve Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mouricio in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Timoteo Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berutti FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filomeno Ulizes in the 88th minute. Mark Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Las Momias F. C.'s Cristian Tarragon. But to his dismay, Cristian Tarragon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 96th minute Orlando Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
