With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Arlo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Fernandez saved El Patriarca ® from getting behind. The supporters of El Patriarca ® booed when Santhiagos Feli Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Arlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Serapio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute, Severo Acevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santhiagos Feli Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 18 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Millrick. When Santhiagos Feli Club's Severo Acevedo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29thth minute of the game Severo Acevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Patriarca ®'s Saul Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saul Fernandez stood somewhat misplaced when Severo Acevedo came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. With a little luck, El Patriarca ®'s Saul Fernandez got control of the ball when Severo Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Apolo Galsino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Serapio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Vinicio Lordi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santhiagos Feli Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Patriarca ® the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Severo Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Fernandez having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Severo Acevedo came free, but Saul Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Epifanio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Primo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Serapio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Millrick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Arlo came free, but Saul Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
