Dali Valdez started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Felipe Carballo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leon Ieltxu, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Mala Lech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mala Lech in the 17th minute of play forced PeLotaZo al 9's goalkeeper Leon Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dali Valdez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Ieltxu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Mala Lech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA LUZ F.C.'s Jonatan Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Abeitia in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Felipe Carballo got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes, PeLotaZo al 9's Joaquin Quinten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Venerando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PeLotaZo al 9 reached it. If Marcelo Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Maidana during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes PeLotaZo al 9 got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Maidana. A collision led to PeLotaZo al 9 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Roberto Duran hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Tata González got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelo Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA LUZ F.C.'s Eliseo Truylos was substituted for Mala Lech.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Maidana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Marcos Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Venerando was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. A hard shot 57 in the game by Marcelo Baristo from a close distance when the talented Jonatan Venerando managed to make a qualified save. LA LUZ F.C.'s players were relieved. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when PeLotaZo al 9 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, PeLotaZo al 9's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Truylos came free, but Leon Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Abeitia in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Venerando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tata González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Leon Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Carballo in the 71st minute of play. Felipe Carballo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Ieltxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Gregorio Arias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Truylos in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Ieltxu saved PeLotaZo al 9 from getting behind. Leon Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Truylos in the 89th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play PeLotaZo al 9's Marcos Maidana was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th match minute, PeLotaZo al 9 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Maidana to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the PeLotaZo al 9 defense, Eliseo Truylos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Ieltxu. The PeLotaZo al 9 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Ieltxu should have stopped the shot.
