The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Barovero. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Octavio Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Octavio Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Ermengol to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Adrogue FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Maurino. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Ermengol, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The tension between the Al-Femur FC and the Adrogue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Al-Femur FC's Benigno Benet got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cristobal Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
