It was a well-played corner which Eriz Gomara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elias Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Engin Dönmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio Loureiro got free with Samuel Asteri in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Engin Dönmez made a kick off. When Victorino Bartuelo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volvimos mejores's protests and gave Victorino Bartuelo a yellow card for diving instead. Victorino Bartuelo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match.
