The Defensores de Fasano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Agüero in the 15th minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Abelardo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Cristofor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Agüero in the 16th minute of play. Tiburcio Peruxu struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Abelardo Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Agüero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Machado in the 21st minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Abelardo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabian George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Agüero in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Cristofor saved Sportivo Ben Hur from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Gavino Vela got a free kick in the 37th minute. Abelardo Cristofor came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Fasano's Gabriel Agüero. But to his dismay, Gabriel Agüero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Fernando Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Fabian George charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian George the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Fabian George. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Fagondo in the 47th minute of play forced Defensores de Fasano's goalkeeper Aristides Koldobika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Fagondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Cristofor made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Edelmiro Machado sent off a good shot on target. Aristides Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 62 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Peruxu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Cristofor. Tiburcio Peruxu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 65th minute, Fernando Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Ted's late challenge caught a Defensores de Fasano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Ted helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Ted hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Agüero came free, but Abelardo Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Edelmiro Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Fasano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cristian Ted hit a great ball. Sportivo Ben Hur's Abelardo Cristofor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Ben Hur from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Peruxu in the 86th minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Abelardo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian George blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Cristofor having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Defensores de Fasano's Tiburcio Peruxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Cristofor. Abelardo Cristofor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Defensores de Fasano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
