When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Saturnino Honesto to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Jurgi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Honesto came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Jurgi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Saturnino Honesto got control of the ball when Patricio Jurgi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Batán's Patricio Jurgi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Honesto. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. The supporters of Cardo Ruso Cordobés booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Timo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Feliberto Maraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Richie came free, but Feliberto Maraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Abascal in the 39th minute of play. AC Batán's Feliberto Maraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Jordy in the 41st minute of play. Patricio Jurgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Saturnino Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Isaac Rojelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saturnino Honesto. The goal made the score 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Richie was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes, Alejandro Gauargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardo Ruso Cordobés and the AC Batán players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cardo Ruso Cordobés getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alejandro Gauargi hit a great ball. AC Batán's Aquiles Louis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Rioja during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Rioja to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, AC Batán's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Abascal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Federico Timo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the AC Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Timo couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Richie. Saturnino Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Jurgi in the 78th minute of the match. Feliberto Maraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
