The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Kirchner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emilio Liher's late challenge caught a C.A Vientos Huracanados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Liher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Emilio Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Jacobo Garin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Vientos Huracanados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Celedonio Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mauricio Gagriel made a huge save. Mauricio Gagriel made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Adan Beltza sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Maximo Urtsin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Kirchner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Fortun was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ariel Fidele hit a great ball. Jacobo Garin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Nestor Kirchner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Nestor Kirchner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the match, C.A Vientos Huracanados's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Eneto came free, but Mauricio Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Dodorol. Maximo Urtsin lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of C.A Vientos Huracanados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riesgo Cero:s goal. Riesgo Cero's Adan Beltza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauricio Gagriel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jacobo Garin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Nestor Kirchner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Prudencio Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
