After a rather tough play, LA IMPRENTA's Dalmacio Elixio got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Deportivo David Mardel's Arnaldo Inocente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgilio Naldo. Virgilio Naldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 9 played minutes Deportivo David Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Mitxel. A collision led to LA IMPRENTA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Omar Sendoa hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Deportivo David Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Polino. Marcelo Polino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Arnaldo Inocente came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Deportivo David Mardel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Inocente couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo David Mardel booed when LA IMPRENTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Sendoa's late challenge caught a Deportivo David Mardel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Mitxel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Inocente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Naldo. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Arnaldo Inocente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Naldo having to make a save. After having played for 42 minutes, Arnaldo Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo David Mardel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Mitxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Virgilio Naldo made a huge save. After 45 minutes, Aristides Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo David Mardel and the LA IMPRENTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aristides Franco hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

LA IMPRENTA's Virgilio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciceron Mestanza in the 54th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Omar Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Jacobo Mitxel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Naldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Arnaldo Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo David Mardel's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Inocente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Inocente in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Saturnino Kepa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA IMPRENTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo David Mardel the free kick. Saturnino Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Virgilio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Polino in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LA IMPRENTA's Dalmacio Elixio got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, LA IMPRENTA's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Franco came free, but Virgilio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelo Polino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Deportivo David Mardel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Polino couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo David Mardel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
