Freddy Valentine took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Vargas. Gervasio Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Gervasio Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Chabier in the 7th minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Gervasio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Acabay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Valentine in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Valentine in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meng Yue Yin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Gogo Chabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Vargas. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Chabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 20th minute, Gogo Chabier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gervasio Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Valentine's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Acabay in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Acabay came free, but Gervasio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Yala's Freddy Valentine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gervasio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Valentine in the 36th minute of play. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Gervasio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ferran in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gogo Chabier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a rather tough play, Yala's Zeledon Ferran got a free kick in the 41st minute. Panait Urdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Frechoso in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Yavuz Acabay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Valentine scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yavuz Acabay made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Valentine in the 51st minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Gervasio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Yala's Gogo Chabier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 56 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Valentine came free, but Gervasio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Chabier in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Chabier in the 63rd minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Gervasio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yala's Gogo Chabier came free and shot a quick shot against goal 66 minutes in the game, fortunately Gervasio Vargas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 68th minute Freddy Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yala were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Jaunti took the corner. With a little luck, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Gervasio Vargas got control of the ball when Yavuz Acabay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Valentine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervasio Vargas. That made the score 0-10 in the 75 minute of play. Gervasio Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 80th minute. Gervasio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gogo Chabier took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Vargas. Gervasio Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 91 minutes into the match, Gogo Chabier notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Gervasio Vargas. Gervasio Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's zone, Zeledon Ferran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Vargas came out of the goal and Zeledon Ferran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yala were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
