Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Victor F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Zacarias Chus had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Braulio Fresco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eleuterio Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Jaunti in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Ruben Adrio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarias Chus. Ruben Adrio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 35th minute, Silvestre Lidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Victor F.C.'s Nestor Tirso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Petrigai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eleuterio Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aztore Sagaseta in the 40th minute of the match. When Silvestre Lidon fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NeW York CitY CopS's protests and gave Silvestre Lidon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Victor F.C. booed when NeW York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

NeW York CitY CopS made a substitution. Gabriel Fertus replaced Silvestre Lidon. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Jaunti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Aztore Sagaseta came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Victor F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aztore Sagaseta couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Victor F.C.'s Nestor Tirso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Petrigai. Eleuterio Petrigai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Eleuterio Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tirso in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Jaunti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Petrigai. NeW York CitY CopS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ambrosio Jaunti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 66th match minute, Victor F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eleuterio Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NeW York CitY CopS's Eleuterio Petrigai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save NeW York CitY CopS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, NeW York CitY CopS's Rolando Frascuelo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Aztore Sagaseta might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Petrigai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aztore Sagaseta ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aztore Sagaseta in the 81st minute of play forced NeW York CitY CopS's goalkeeper Eleuterio Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Jaunti got free with Eleuterio Petrigai in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Petrigai having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Aztore Sagaseta made a precise shot to the right of Eleuterio Petrigai. NeW York CitY CopS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the match was over Victor F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NeW York CitY CopS throughout the match.
