Anibal Amato started the match with the kick off. Aquilino Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Petrigai in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Alejandra's Fernando Natanael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Gombal. Ciro Gombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Anibal Amato fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alejandra's protests and gave Anibal Amato a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alejandra getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Anibal Amato hit a great ball. Aquilino Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Belasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sixto Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Petrigai in the 22nd minute of play forced Alejandra's goalkeeper Aquilino Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Americo Bertin 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Florentino Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Umbruso having to interfere. Florentino Petrigai took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Umbruso. Aquilino Umbruso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aquilino Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Koldobika in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Checa came free, but Aquilino Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Isaac Dayam with Florencio Oxarra as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Petrigai made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Bertin came free, but Ciro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Bertin in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Gombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Checa struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aquilino Umbruso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Amato in the 66th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Alejandra's Fernando Natanael got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Aquilino Umbruso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Koldobika in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Edgardo Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Deportivo Balvanera's Marciano Koldobika shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquilino Umbruso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Balvanera reached it. Narciso Peli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. Marciano Koldobika blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Umbruso having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Koldobika during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marciano Koldobika hit a great ball. Ciro Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Lartaun in the 86th minute of the match. Aquilino Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Checa in the 88th minute of the match. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alejandra's Aquilino Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Checa in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Deportivo Balvanera players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
