When Argider Lizundia fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CON-E-CO's protests and gave Argider Lizundia a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes CON-E-CO got a freekick which was hit by Frans Escajadillo. In the 16th minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demesio Galarreta. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Claudio Scalise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demesio Galarreta. Claudio Scalise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 42 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demesio Galarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Frans Escajadillo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CON-E-CO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Escajadillo couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Claudio Scalise made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Scalise in the 56th minute of play forced CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Frans Escajadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Buljubasich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erramun Abendaño was slow to take the kick. During this time CON-E-CO's players had a chance to rest. CON-E-CO's Erramun Abendaño was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Maria Buljubasich in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience cheered when Erramun Abendaño's long shot passed José Maria Buljubasich's right side. It was 4-1, 60 minutes into the match. Claudio Scalise struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Demesio Galarreta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Lea Papá. Diego Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when CON-E-CO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Valentin Arellano replaced Claudio Scalise. In the 68th minute, Diego Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner. Horacio Carbonari went to the cornerflag to take it. Valentin Arellano struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Demesio Galarreta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Lea Papá. A sloppy throw-in by Argider Lizundia in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atlético Lea Papá's Leonardo Gil. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Washington Camacho hit a great ball. José Maria Buljubasich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Escajadillo in the 91st minute of the match.
