After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Orland Villadiego got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Arnulfo Camuss short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Cresconio Carreño to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 6 minutes into the game, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marko Orellan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cresconio Carreño. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Arnulfo Camus in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lolo Moreno in the 15th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Marko Orellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Gârneață came free, but Cresconio Carreño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Lolo Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Orellan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 27 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Orland Villadiego. 31 minutes into the game, Nel Tagle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Nel Tagle got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fix Bolonga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Lolo Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Orellan. CD Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lolo Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Isaac Dalmases kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Orland Villadiego in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marko Orellan's left hand side. After the first half Deportivo ScrugenFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chus Carreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper Marko Orellan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cresconio Carreño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Gârneață in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marko Orellan. Marko Orellan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Checa Peñas was substituted for Chus Carreira. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Martxot Peroalfonso replaced Lolo Moreno. Checa Peñas scored 1-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Orellan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Nel Tagle. In the 76th minute of the match Isaac Dalmases sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cresconio Carreño skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Gârneață in the 80th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Cresconio Carreño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Jian Cheng came free, but Marko Orellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Orellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Jian Cheng in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Gârneață in the 90th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Cresconio Carreño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Cresconio Carreño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Gârneață in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Hurko Hurtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo ScrugenFC! Cresconio Carreño had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Fix Bolonga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cresconio Carreño came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Fix Bolonga. But to his dismay, Fix Bolonga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. 96 minutes into the game, Jaime Maliaño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Cresconio Carreño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo ScrugenFC played a much better game than CD Municipal and deserved their victory. The CD Municipal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
