The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Rich Barth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermes Centella. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Wiliam Lozano sped through Caaguazu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rich Barth. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Rojas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Trejos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Rich Barth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiliam Lozano. Caaguazu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Wiliam Lozano scored to the left of an out of position Rich Barth, making the score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Rojas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Trejos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Daniel Rojas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo de San Blás's Sebastián Trejos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rich Barth made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Herbruger in the 29th minute. If Wiliam Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Caaguazu's Daniel Rojas in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo de San Blás's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Totín Corral didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Rojas in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Trejos saved Flamengo de San Blás from getting behind. Rich Barth made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Totín Corral sent off a good shot on target. Caaguazu's Rich Barth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Lozano in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Rojas made a kick off. When Hermes Centella came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Flamengo de San Blás fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermes Centella couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute Daniel Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Trejos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Wiliam Lozano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flamengo de San Blás's Sebastián Trejos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo de San Blás from getting a goal against them. Jorginho Salles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rich Barth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totín Corral in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Steinar Stålhandske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rich Barth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Rojas. Rich Barth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Stålhandske in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Daniel Rojas made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo de San Blás's Sebastián Trejos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Totín Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rich Barth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sebastián Trejos made a huge save. Rich Barth came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo de San Blás's Steinar Stålhandske. But to his dismay, Steinar Stålhandske quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Flamengo de San Blás's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
