The supporters of Puerto de Sagunto CF booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coronel Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Joachim Zaplana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Moya skillfully saved the ball. After 25 minutes, Gav Smith made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Murcia Promesas got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Giacomini. When Joachim Zaplana came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Puerto de Sagunto CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Zaplana couldn't finish the play. Edoardo Giacomini hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Gav Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaona Camino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gav Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garaona Camino was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Smith in the 57th minute of the match. Rosario Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Murcia Promesas made a substitution. The Puerto de Sagunto CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Murcia Promesas's performance. The match ended with a win for Murcia Promesas.
