Walme Ortega came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Manzano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. When Cent Ros fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orihuela Club de Fútbol's protests and gave Cent Ros a yellow card for diving instead. Cent Ros hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. CD Boiro's Walme Ortega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CD Boiro from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Moncho Dorado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walme Ortega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Isidro Millán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Ilixo Verdeja notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Amador Nunez. Amador Nunez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Fernando Manzano took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Walme Ortega to make any attempt to save it. After 30 played minutes, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Adalberto Mayor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walme Ortega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orihuela Club de Fútbol reached it. Nalo Carballeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walme Ortega having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Fernando Manzano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walme Ortega. Walme Ortega yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Amador Nunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elixio Lacorte in the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Manzano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walme Ortega. That made the score 4-1 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Manzano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pablo Salgado hit a great ball. When Lluis Belalcaraz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lluis Belalcaraz couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Elixio Lacorte came free, but Amador Nunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walme Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Manzano in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute Fernando Manzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tome Griego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Tome Griego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walme Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 64 minutes into the game, Firman Galdamez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Amador Nunez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adalberto Mayor's late challenge caught a CD Boiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Mayor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Adalberto Mayor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Boiro's Walme Ortega didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tome Griego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Tome Griego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Fernando Manzano put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Walme Ortega. Lluis Belalcaraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, CD Boiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Millán to maneuver through the defense. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
