Geale Scheper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Kaspers in the 3rd minute of the match. Pieter Kaspers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geale Scheper came out and tried to block the shot, but Pieter Kaspers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. When Robin Kemper fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Robin Kemper a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Robin Kemper got a free kick in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Homegrown's goalkeeper Geale Scheper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Kaspers. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Cobus Hauvers got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter Kaspers got free with Geale Scheper in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Homegrown's goalkeeper Geale Scheper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Kaspers. 23 minutes into the match, Pieter Kaspers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geale Scheper. Homegrown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter Kaspers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Homegrown's Geale Scheper got control of the ball when Pieter Kaspers tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Dirk-Jan Pietersma got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Geale Scheper was a little too slow when Falco Bouma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Rogier Das kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Geale Scheper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Kaspers, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Pieter Kaspers notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Homegrown's Geale Scheper. Geale Scheper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Homegrown getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rogier Das hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Homegrown! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for The Underdogs. Falco Bouma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geale Scheper. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falco Bouma made a kick off. Pieter Kaspers took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geale Scheper. Geale Scheper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 57 minutes into the game, Kristof Bults threw the ball into play from the sideline. Homegrown's Jan Dekens quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 58 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goalkeeper Arnout Visscher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Roelofs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falco Bouma in the 61st minute of play forced Homegrown's goalkeeper Geale Scheper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Falco Bouma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Geale Scheper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Homegrown got a freekick which was hit by Rogier Das. Homegrown's Geale Scheper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Kaspers in the 67th minute of play. Pieter Kaspers scored 8-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geale Scheper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Underdogs made a substitution. Ben Snel replaced Hendrik-Jan Niemeyer. After a rather tough play, Homegrown's Rogier Das got a free kick in the 75th minute. Pieter Kaspers might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geale Scheper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pieter Kaspers ran back to his position shaking his head. Geale Scheper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falco Bouma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Homegrown got a freekick which was hit by Thijs Sturm. After 79 minutes, Rogier Das mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Homegrown and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the match, Pieter Kaspers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geale Scheper. Homegrown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter Kaspers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Pieter Kaspers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Falco Bouma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geale Scheper. Homegrown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falco Bouma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. After 98 minutes, Pieter Kaspers made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Homegrown's Geale Scheper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
