Rogério Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th of the match, Gilmar Baiano tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Angelino Nueva got in the way and made a wonderful save. Luiz Guilherme Vaz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leões do Sul 53's Gilmar Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelino Nueva. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Seco was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Xande Cabezudo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edinho Camargo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edinho Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Cardoso in the 58th minute of the match. If Rogério Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Giuseppe de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reko-Recko 03™'s protests and gave Giuseppe de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano França. 72 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's Rogério Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Nueva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogério Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Abraão made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Leões do Sul 53's Breno Porto. Chico Dracena got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Giuseppe de Souza. When the referee ended the match the Leões do Sul 53 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
