The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Gláuber Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Soeiro in the 5th minute of play. LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Soeiro in the 5th minute of play. Leão de Judá were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after LRCA Office Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Rodas took the corner. João Carlos Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Nuno Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LRCA Office Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cléber dos Santos hit a great ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Gláuber Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Leão de Judá's Bernardinho de Brito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 minutes, Hermínio de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LRCA Office Club and the Leão de Judá players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Hermínio de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gláuber Ramalho in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute of the match, Gilberto Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruninho Alagoano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute Toke Chute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leão de Judá's Cristiano Azevedo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LRCA Office Club's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho de Brito came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Rodas made a great header on Leão de Judá's corner, it was just that LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares managed to reach the ball for a save. Maurício Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Ramalho in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Gláuber Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Ramalho came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Délio Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's Marcos Mineiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Azevedo got free with Maurício Linhares in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gláuber Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Leão de Judá's Bruninho Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber dos Santos in the 67th minute of play. Toke Chute struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bruninho Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LRCA Office Club. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Duarte in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruninho Alagoano saved Leão de Judá from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Bernardinho de Brito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Linhares. Bernardinho de Brito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Linhares having to interfere. Maurício Linhares came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Leão de Judá's João Carlos Soeiro. But to his dismay, João Carlos Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 84th minute Cléber dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save LRCA Office Club from getting a goal against them. Délio Meireles hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Leão de Judá's Jonathan Rodas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Leão de Judá supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leão de Judá would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
