Luiz Guilherme Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo de Salles's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Erasmo de Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Guilherme Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Severino de Sousa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Luiz Guilherme Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo de Salles in the 40th minute. Matías Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Guilherme Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Massa in the 52nd minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Marília AC got a freekick which was hit by Matías Leal. After some careless play in the Marília AC defense, Erasmo de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme Loureiro. The Marília AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme Loureiro should have stopped the shot. Luiz Guilherme Loureiro came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Magnus's Erasmo de Salles. But to his dismay, Erasmo de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 81 played minutes Marília AC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Esteves. The audience held their breath when Severino de Sousa in the 83rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Luiz Guilherme Loureiro's left hand side. When the referee ended the match the Red Bull Magnus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
