Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nilton Alves took the kick off in the first half of the match. It was a well-played corner which Bruninho Freitas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 6th minute, Iuri Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Loser FC's Dorival de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Carlos Dracena stood somewhat misplaced when Dorival de Moraes came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. In the 18th minute, New Loser FC's Célio Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Horácio Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quandus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quandus getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isaltino Capixaba hit a great ball. Célio Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the last second João Carlos Dracena throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dorival de Moraes in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival de Moraes came free, but João Carlos Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. João Carlos Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Queirós in the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Dorival de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victor Leão fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quandus's protests and gave Victor Leão a yellow card for diving instead. João Carlos Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Queirós in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Queirós was the one to do the kick off. João Carlos Dracena came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Loser FC's Dorival de Moraes. But to his dismay, Dorival de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Quandus defense, Bebeto Penha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Dracena. The Quandus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Dracena should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival de Moraes came free, but João Carlos Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival de Moraes in the 64th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper João Carlos Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Célio Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. João Carlos Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Queirós in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilton Alves got free with Cláudio Maranhense in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quandus's João Carlos Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Queirós in the 78th minute of play. Horácio Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dorival de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. João Carlos Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Loser FC. 83 minutes into the match, Nilton Alves notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of New Loser FC's Cláudio Maranhense. Cláudio Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Carlos Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iuri Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Loser FC had played much better football throughout.
