A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Murilo de Brito hit a great ball. Hílton Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazim Maalem in the 16th minute of the match. Ademir Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Tande in the 25th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Hílton Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Seterma Tractors got a corner. Xurupita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cícero de Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Seterma Tractors's Cícero de Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Hílton Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, Ademir Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 姜响昆 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Sikström. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Ademir Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seterma Tractors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xurupita FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Seterma Tractors got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Tande. 35 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesinha Faria. Murilo de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Sikström having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Faria came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seterma Tractors's Patrik Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Faria in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Xurupita FC were awarded a corner. Murilo de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. Xurupita FC's 姜响昆 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrik Sikström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute, Cesinha Faria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademir Tande was the one to do the kick off. Aníbal Mesquita hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cesinha Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Patrik Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by 姜响昆. Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Pena in the 56th minute of play. If Cesinha Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Sikström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademir Tande got free with Hílton Costa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hílton Costa was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Cícero de Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cícero de Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 68th minute, Paulo Renato Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazim Maalem in the 75th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cícero de Medeiros during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Cícero de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Ademir Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seterma Tractors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cícero de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seterma Tractors's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Ademir Tande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seterma Tractors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hílton Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Murilo de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Paulo Renato Pombal got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
