The crowd rose to their feet as Diguinho Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wágner Seco. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ronaldão Trevisan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Amaral in the 16th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Mateus Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateus Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Wágner Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diguinho Souza. Wágner Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Penha. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Juninho de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Washington Sarmento. The audience was convinced that Diguinho Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Seco was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Atlético da Colina's Mateus Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. Diguinho Souza struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Wágner Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético da Colina. 61 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Souza came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Wágner Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diguinho Souza struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wágner Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético da Colina. In the 81st minute, Diguinho Souza made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Seco. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Wágner Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Souza in the 86th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Diguinho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brasiliense FC's Wágner Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético da Colina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Kiko Pirani scored to the left of an out of position Mateus Linhares, making the score, 6-1. In the 93rd minute Dé Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wágner Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Atlético da Colina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
