In the 7th minute Luís Gustavo Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Simões came free, but Robinho de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tiquinho Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Tiquinho Soares got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Correia in the 16th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 21st minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Natã Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dibag Martinez was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Caetano Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 38th minute of the match. Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Quintal in the 43rd minute of play. Dibag Martinez came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Luís Gustavo Botelho. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiquinho Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiquinho Soares in the 52nd minute of play. Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ace Spade in the 54th minute of play. When Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Venécia-ES's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano Simões took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho de Salles. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiquinho Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robinho de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Rezende came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dibag Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Caetano Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xiboquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Rezende in the 78th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Xiboquinha FC could leave the field as winners, despite Nova Venécia-ES having more of the ball for most of the match.
