An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Baiano in the 16th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, one of Leon Sport Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Sport Club Mavericks. Arnaldo Baiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Weverton Pras. 0-3. Valdo Prado hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Leon Sport Club's Weverton Pras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Tande in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Baiano in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Freddy Cordarrell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Weverton Pras quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Freddy Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weverton Pras was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Weverton Pras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Cordarrell's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After the first half Sport Club Mavericks were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Waldemar Fernandez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Weverton Pras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Freddy Cordarrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Weverton Pras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Freddy Cordarrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Weverton Pras. Freddy Cordarrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Freddy Cordarrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Weverton Pras made a huge save. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leon Sport Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Baiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest. 81 minutes in the game Rodriguinho Perez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edmundo Dracena. Weverton Pras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Freddy Cordarrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Timmy Zander hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Cordarrell came free, but Weverton Pras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
